Picking a daisy
We've just broken up from school for Easter after a couple of unexpected spring days, and the daisies are starting their annual battle with the school mower. This was one that got away. I used Expression 3 and a crow quill brush for the line drawing, and watercolour brushes in Painter for the rest. I've submitted this one to Illustration Friday (another step in the dark!)

I really like your drawing, good use of painter's watercolor! I'm just starting to use painter's digital watercolor. It's a lot of fun. You do great work. I'm anxious to see next weeks illustration. Best Regards.

I've known Dr F for many years: she designs & makes costumes for school plays that I produce. I'm really pleased that a larger audience is seeing her outstanding talent here. This picture is quite brilliant.
